Der Analyst schrieb --> "Also, BABA-SW has been carrying out a USD40 billion share buyback program and has already executed USD19 billion in the first nine months of FY2023." ........ das entspricht nicht der Wahrheit. BABA hat "in the first nine months of FY2023" genau 8,9 Milliarden USD ausgegeben, nicht 19 Milliarden USD. Und das ein 40 Milliarden Rückkaufprogramm läuft stimmt auch nicht. Er zählt bei den 40 alle bisherigen Rückkaufprogramme zusammen (Jahr 2017 + 2020 + 2021 + 2022 + 2022). Wieso zählt er bei den 40 ein Rückkaufprogramm von 2017 dazu welches schon längst abgefrühstückt ist ?!

BABA's customer management revenue (CMR) was forecast to elevate 4% YoY in the first fiscal quarter of 2024 and realize an 8% growth throughout the entire year, as outlined in the forecasts of Morgan Stanley, which were ahead of the street consensus. In April 2023, the YoY growth in BABA-SW's online retail sales accelerated to 21%, faster than the 7% uptick posted over the first three months of this year, with a four-year CAGR of 11.4%. Additionally, Morgan Stanley contended that, combining the current cash balance of USD60 billion, three-year free cash flow of USD90 billion and USD50 billion from the hypothetical monetization of 30% equity stakes in non-core businesses, the group's total cash available for distribution would increase sharply to as much as USD200 billion (90% of market cap) in the coming three years. Also, BABA-SW has been carrying out a USD40 billion share buyback program and has already executed USD19 billion in the first nine months of FY2023. The broker believed that the company's capital returns will elevate significantly in the next 6-12 months through dividends, repurchases and distribution of equity investments. BABA-SW was selected as the sector top pick, with a target price of USD150 and an Overweight rating.

Dann reden die Amerikaner über Blasen in China. Sehr amüsant. Es wird Zeit, dass die größte Blase der Geschichte platzt und hoffentlich wird das System danach nicht wieder so einen Mist fabrizieren.

Kurzer Blick auf die Quartalszahlen heute (hatte noch keine Zeit für eine detaillierte Analyse): Baidu hat beim Gewinn und Umsatz die Erwartungen hoch übertroffen. Sea Limited hat hingegen enttäuscht. Aber vorallem in Digital Entertainment und nicht im E-Commerce. Meines Erachtens nicht so negativ für Alibaba, da Sea Limited in der Vergangenheit die Einnahmen aus dem Gaming in sehr aggressives Marketing gesteckt hat, um das Wachstm im E-Commerce zu fördern. Wenn hier die Geldquelle etwas versiegt, könnte der Wettbewerb für Alibaba etwas abflauen. Zumindest dies ist meine momentane Sicht der Dinge.

Dann geh doch short und nerv die Leute weniger... Aber vermutlich zuwenig **** in der Hose und nur eine grosse Klappe

Abverkauf.... Warum überrascht mich das nicht?

Meine Erwartungen sind, dass wir früher, oder später, nicht in diesem Jahr, wieder ein EPS von $8 sehen. Und dann stehen wir nicht mehr bei $80.
