Nach der Genehmigung der britischen Regierung und Ausräumung von Sicherheitsbedenken läuft nun nur noch die weitergehende Prüfung der CMA in Phase 2. Aber offensichtlich ist die Regierung schon einmal eine Fürsprecherin und ein offener Konflikt zwischen dieser und der CMA ist eher unwahrscheinlich. Das ist wohl eine der größten geplanten Fusionen in der britischen Geschichte und dessen Finanzmarkt. Dazu noch in einem besonders umfassenden Kernbereich. Alles andere als eine Überprüfung durch die CMA in Phase 2 wäre völliger Humbug gewesen mit dem niemand ernsthaft hätte rechnen können.☝️🫡
