TECO 2030 publishes its results for H1 2022 2.9.2022 07:30:00 CEST | TECO 2030 ASA | Half yearly financial reports and audit reports / limited reviews (Lysaker, Norway, 2 September 2022): Norwegian Cleantech Company TECO 2030 ASA released results for H1 2022 today. The financial numbers are in accordance with the board and management’s expectations for the period and clearly underlines the development phase of which TECO 2030 currently is going through. Most of the Group’s focus and effort is put on the development of the TECO 2030 PEM fuel cells for shipping and other heavy-duty applications. The first fuel cell stacks will be ready end of Q4 2022, while the first FCM400 (Fuel Cell Module 400 kW) will be built and begin testing during beginning of Q2 2023. The first TECO 2030 fuel cell stacks for the AVL HyTruck fuel cell system will be ready during Q1 2023. Further, the financial numbers are somewhat marked by expenses related to the ramp-up process of the factory in Narvik and the development team at Lysaker. During the first half of 2022, TECO 2030 has seen a good progress in the right direction and continues to build footprint as one of the market leaders for maritime hydrogen fuel cells and for other heavy-duty applications. On an overall level, the development of the fuel cells is going according to schedule and is showing solid performance progress towards zero emission energy generation for heavy duty applications. The development of the production plant in Narvik is also moving forwards according to schedule with an expected start of production of fuel cells in Q4 2023. August 2022 15:23 TECO2030 erhält BWTS-Auftrag TECO 2030 ASA hat von CMI Ship Management für das Schiff M/V Ocean Diamond einen Auftrag für 1 TECO 2030 Ballastwasserbehandlungssystem (BWTS) mit BIO-SEA-Antrieb im Wert von ca. 910.000 NOK erhalten. Dies ist die 6. CMI-Bestellung des BWTS-Systems beim Team von TECO2030 in Miami, USA. Dies bestätigt die Position von TECO2030 auf dem Markt als bevorzugter BWTS-Partner und beweist unsere Fähigkeit, mit Kunden auf der ganzen Welt zusammenzuarbeiten. Ballaste sind Speicher, die dazu dienen, Schiffe entsprechend ihrer Beladung zu stabilisieren. Um zu verhindern, dass invasive Arten von einer Region in eine andere reisen, und um mögliche Gesundheitsprobleme zu vermeiden, muss das Ballastwasser eines Schiffes behandelt werden, bevor es wieder ins Meer geleitet wird. TECO2030 and AVL sign agreement for closer cooperation 2.8.2022 07:30:01 CEST | TECO 2030 ASA | Non-regulatory press releases (Lysaker, Norway, August 2nd 2022) TECO2030 (OSE: TECO) and AVL List GmbH have signed a collaboration agreement where TECO2030s fuel cell stacks will be deployed in AVL’s DemoTruck which is powered by the HyTruck Fuel Cell System. The DemoTruck project is currently constructing a prototype class 8 / 40-ton truck with outstanding power density capabilities which provides a perfect form factor to enable integration of over 300kW net fuel cell systems into standard truck chassis. The DemoTruck prototype will be on the road in mid-2023 powered by fuel cell stacks delivered by TECO2030. HyTruck (in support of AVL’s DemoTruck) is a project funded by the Austrian government and has the objective to develop, build, calibrate and validate a heavy-duty fuel cell system including its key technologies to meet the requirements of commercial vehicles regarding power, efficiency, reliability and lifetime. The project consortium consists of several competent partners such as AVL, DB Schenker, Hydrogen Europe, EI-JKU, EMT, EVN AG, FEN, FPT, HyCentA, PBX, Rosenbauer, Technical University Vienna, VKM, and WIVA. The project will run for 36 months with the fuel cell system concept available by end of 2019. AVL will be performing the coordination of the project as well as technical concept development of the fuel cell powertrain, including cooling, operating strategy, packaging and fuel cell system development. TECO 2030 has received funding for developing the high-speed vessel of the future 4.7.2022 07:00:01 CEST | TECO 2030 ASA | Non-regulatory press releases (Lysaker, Norway, July 4th 2022) TECO 2030 ASA (OSE: TECO) leads a consortium with partners Umoe Mandal and BLOM Maritime to develop a hydrogen powered high-speed vessel with zero emissions. The consortium will receive up to 5 million NOK in funding support. The vessel will combine the class-leading fuel cell systems from TECO 2030 and energy-efficient catamaran design with SES technology from Umoe Mandal. The vessel will have the capacity to transport 200-300 passengers at speeds above 35 knots while sailing over a longer distance. In the project “High-speed vessel of the future”, the county municipalities of Finnmark, Nordland, Trøndelag and Vestland aims to develop groundbreaking technology in several areas. One of the technology segments is to develop, build and demonstrate the world's first hydrogen-powered high-speed vessel. The consortium of TECO 2030, BLOM Maritime and UMOE Mandal is one of three qualified consortiums. “We are humble and proud to be qualified for developing the high-speed vessel of the future, powered by hydrogen and TECO 2030 Fuel Cells. This proves our ability to lead advanced vessel developments and design either it is retrofit or newbuilds through our maritime expertise,” says Tore Enger, Group CEO, TECO 2030.
