Condensed CEO comment from Pål Warolin: “Continued profitable growth; strong order backlog provides stability ahead of 2023” “I can summarise the third quarter as one with good progress for Fasadgruppen, and especially with regard to the strong growth in both sales and order backlog. The margin has decreased somewhat compared to last year but must be seen in light of the strong cost inflation for materials that occurred particularly in the second quarter. Sales in the third quarter amounted to SEK 1,208.0 million, an increase of 69.3 percent compared with the corresponding quarter in the previous year. Organic growth was 14.6 percent and growth through acquisitions was 54.7 percent. The order backlog increased by 94.9 percent, with organic growth accounting for 36.1 percent. The adjusted EBITA margin was 11.5 percent for the quarter. We will continue to focus heavily on profitability going forward and see a certain improvement in material price trends. We notice great interest from property owners in all types of measures that can contribute to improving energy performance. Our assessment is that this driving force is further contributing to the long-term stability of the renovation market, which currently accounts for approximately 75 percent of our sales. We are now in the middle of the fourth quarter, which entails a burst of activity to complete projects before winter arrives. If I allow myself to look ahead to 2023 now, I have a fundamentally positive view of our prospects for continuing to deliver profitable growth. The record-high order backlog combined with continued good acquisition opportunities and the underlying market provide clear stability for the business.” Report presentation CEO Pål Warolin and CFO Casper Tamm will present the report in a conference call and webcast today 15 November at 08:15 CET. The presentation will be held in English and will be concluded with a Q&A session.

Fasadgruppen expands to Finland through the acquisition of RKC Construction Fasadgruppen continues its Nordic expansion and establishes the group in Finland through the acquisition of the façade company RKC Construction Oy, also referred to as Rovakate. Rovakate was founded in 1973 and specialises in façade and roofing works for industry buildings in general and power plants in particular. The operations are based in Oulu with projects carried out in Finland, the rest of the Nordic countries and northern Europe for customers in the industrial and energy sectors. Rovakate has 28 full-time employees, and for the financial year 2021, its revenues amounted to approximately EUR 16 million. The company will be part of Fasadgruppen’s NorthEast business area. The acquisition means that Fasadgruppen expands to Finland, with a façade market that similarly to the rest of the Nordic region is fragmented with many local façade companies. According to Euroconstruct, the Finnish renovation and new construction market amounted to approximately EUR 38.8 billion in 2021. Pål Warolin, CEO of Fasadgruppen, said: “Finland is a natural next step in Fasadgruppen’s geographical expansion, and with Rovakate as a first entry we get an entrepreneurial company that is a leader in its niche in Finland and also offers its services in the other Nordic markets. We look forward to establishing Fasadgruppen and our active M&A agenda in Finland and believe that Rovakate will become a strong ambassador for further expansion on the market."

Condensed CEO comment from Pål Warolin: “Positive start to the year – strong growth in order backlog” “As always, the first quarter is clearly our low season, as much of our work cannot be carried out at cold temperatures. Given this background, we have had a positive start to the year in terms of the development of the business. We have also maintained a rapid pace in terms of acquisitions, with nine new businesses added to the Group during the quarter and a further five after the end of the quarter. Sales in the first quarter amounted to SEK 737.5 million, an increase of 70.3 percent compared with the corresponding quarter in the previous year. Organic growth was 4.3 percent and growth through acquisitions was 66.0 percent. The order backlog increased by 85.6 percent in the quarter, of which organic growth accounted for a good 18.6 percent. The adjusted EBITA margin amounted to 5.9 percent in the quarter, compared with 6.2 percent in the corresponding quarter in the previous year. In March and April, several of our suppliers announced large price increases for materials as a result of strain on the supply chain linked to the war in Ukraine, combined with high inflation. Maintaining our project margins is a priority that both the Group management and the subsidiary management teams have a strong focus on. Finally, I would like to mention the share issue that took place in March. We are extremely proud of the confidence and great interest shown in Fasadgruppen despite the current turbulence on the stock market. Our intention with this share issue is to accelerate value creation by maintaining our active acquisition agenda, where we are focusing on growth with quality and profitability.” Report presentation CEO Pål Warolin and CFO Casper Tamm will present the report in a conference call and webcast today 12 May at 08:15 CEST. The presentation will be held in English and will be concluded with a Q&A session. Dial-ins for conference call: SE: +46 8 5055 8350 UK: +44 3333 009 266

22.04.2022 Fasadgruppen to carry out renovations on 15 multi-family residential properties for Balder Fasadgruppen's subsidiary Johns Bygg & Fasad has signed a contract with property company Balder for an extensive exterior renovation on properties located in Bergsjön outside Gothenburg. The project comprises a design-build contract for 15 multi-family residential properties with a total of 180 apartments. The work will be initiated in May and last for 1.5 years. The properties in Bergsjön were built in the 60s and have been well maintained, but just like many older buildings they are in large need of energy efficiency measures and a façade renovation. John’s assignment comprises the exterior of the buildings. The order value amounts to approximately SEK 34 million. In the project, the outer layer of the façade will be renovated. Among other measures, about 2,000 sq.m. of environmentally friendly and robust Steni façade panels will be mounted. In addition, all gables will be re-plastered, approximately 1,500 windows will be replaced, and all balconies will be glazed by Fasadgruppen’s subsidiary Alnova Balkongsystem. Johan Claesson, Business Area Manager Fasadgruppen West said: “We are happy to have received the trust from Balder. As a full-service provider, Fasadgruppen has a great opportunity to take on this type of renovation projects that include several parts of the properties.”
