Nordic Unmanned reports growth in Q4 and outlines profitability outlook for 2023 23.2.2023 08:01:41 CET | Nordic Unmanned | Half yearly financial reports and audit reports / limited reviews Nordic Unmanned today announced continued strong growth in the fourth quarter of 2022 Revenues in the fourth quarter amounted to EUR 3.7 million compared to EUR 2.5 million, an increase of 48 percent from the same quarter last year. Full year revenue ended at EUR 16.5 million, up 79% from EUR 9.2 million in 2021. EBITDA was negative EUR 2.4 million, adjusted for impairment and write downs, compared to negative EUR 2.8 million in the fourth quarter of last year. For the full year, EBITDA ended at negative EUR 8.6 million. “We finished the fourth quarter with new flagship agreements with EMSA and Lockheed Martin UK that will catalyst growth in the coming years. Revenues in the quarter added to the strong, continued growth trajectory, with rolling 12 months revenues at a record high. In 2023, our overriding priority is to convert high-value customer agreements to cash flow, scale our manufacturing activities and streamline operations through cost control and pooling of resources", says Knut Roar Wiig, CEO of Nordic Unmanned. At the end of the fourth quarter, the total contract backlog was approximately EUR 89 million. The commercial pipeline is currently at EUR 1.3 billion, with EUR 67 million worth of opportunities expected to reach a decision in the next six months. The biggest opportunities in the pipeline are drone-in-a-box solutions in the US and Europe, and drone-as-a-service opportunities for governmental customers to deliver maritime surveillance. The commercial highlight of the quarter was Nordic Unmanned UK Ltd.’s award from Lockheed Martin UK for the production and supply of Heimdal sensors, maintenance and modifications related to the sensor, and other related work on the Lockheed Martin Indago 4 drone.

Nordic Unmanned's AirRobot signs extension of maintenance contract with the Bundeswehr 22.2.2023 12:49:48 CET | Nordic Unmanned | Additional regulated information required to be disclosed under the laws of a member state AirRobot has signed a 4-year extension to the MRO contract with the Bundeswehr for the maintenance and repair of the original MIKADO I drone fleet owned by Bundeswehr. The contract value is expected to be up to EUR 3 million. The MIKADO I project is AirRobot first project with Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) and the current MRO (Maintenance, repair, and overhaul) contract has lasted for ten years. This project is the predecessor of the MIKADO II project, which was awarded to AirRobot by Bundeswehr in May 2022. All critical spare parts to conduct the extended MRO contract on the MIKADO I project are already in stock at the production facility of AirRobot in Arnsberg, Germany. The MRO activity on the MIKADO I project will be conducted simultaneously as the MIKADO II project is progressing. The contract value is based on the customer's expected usage of the contract. Ich verstehe es nicht. Entweder gehen die bald insolvent oder sie explodieren plötzlich wie Draganfly oder Droneshield. Eigentlich läuft es ja ganz gut, sind das die Investitionen die alles drücken oder sehe ich das was nicht? Die Finanzberichte sind auch sehr schlecht abrufbar auf der Seite.... Kein gutes Gefühl und viel Geld versenkt hier...

Die Norweger sind echt krass. In dem Gesamtmarkt hat so gut wie jede Bude einen bounce erlebt. Die norwegischen Buden bleiben auf dem Boden liegen. Wenn der Markt dann ins rote dreht geht's nochmal tiefer...

Nordic Unmanned receives signed OP5 contract from EMSA 23.12.2022 13:35:20 CET | Nordic Unmanned | Additional regulated information required to be disclosed under the laws of a member state Reference is made to Nordic Unmanned's announcements on the 21st of October and 5th of December regarding the letter of award received from the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) and the following successful Initial Configuration Test (ICT). Nordic Unmanned has now received the signed EMSA/OP/5/2022 contract for services providing multipurpose maritime surveillance, with a contract value of up to EUR 20.5 million. “We are very pleased to finally have concluded the signing of the largest contract in the history of the company. This new land and /or vessel-based VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) fixed-wing multipurpose maritime surveillance contract creates a significant increase in our contract backlog for the next four years. We are humbled to take on an even greater responsibility of providing critical maritime surveillance for the European Union. Our ability to support builds on years of investment in our operational capabilities," says Knut Roar Wiig, CEO of Nordic Unmanned. Nordic Unmanned will utilise its current crew and part of its current drone fleet to serve this contract. Some specific additions and upgrades of payloads and drones will be required to deliver operations under this framework contract. Upgrades and additions to the fleet are expected to start from Q3 2023. The first call-off under the framework contract is expected in Q1 2023, with financial effect from Q1 2023. However, the main activity is expected to be ramped up gradually during 2023, with full potential contract deliveries from 2024. The utilisation of the framework contract is contingent on call-offs from the client during the lifetime of the contract, the same contract structure as the current contracts Nordic Unmanned holds with EMSA.
