Die sollen sich mal schön auf ihr zinkprojekt konzentrieren und nicht ständig neue Fässer aufmachen.

Tawana increases Cowan Lithium Project area Tawana Resources NL (ASX: TAW) (Tawana) is pleased to announce that Mt Belches Pty Ltd, a 100% owned subsidiary of Tawana, has entered into a binding agreement with Metalicity Energy Pty Ltd (Metalicity), a 100% subsidiary of Metalicity Limited (ASX: MCT) to acquire its Lake Cowan Project bordering to the south of Tawana’s 100% owned Cowan Lithium Project and 50% owned Bald Hill Lithium & Tantalum Project in the Eastern Goldfields, Western Australia. The Lake Cowan Project comprises two approved Exploration Licences (ELs) totalling 410km2 and one application comprising 152km2. Tawana considers the acquisition to be highly strategic as the Mt Belches- Bald Hill pegmatite belt may extend into the tenements. Purchase consideration for the tenements will be the issue of $50,000 and 769,230 Tawana shares to shareholders of Metalicity, none of whom are related parties of the Company. The shares will be issued upon the transfer of each tenement. The addition of the three tenements to Tawana’s Cowan Lithium Project will increase the total area from 159km2 to 721km2 while the adjoining Bald Hill Project totals 774km2. Together, the Bald Hill and Cowan projects represent 1,495km2. Managing Director Mark Calderwood said: “Whilst we are currently focussed on commencing production at the Bald Hill Mine in early 2018, the enlarged Cowan Lithium Project, which includes a significant portion of the same rare metal pegmatite belt, offers exciting targets for future exploration drilling. Exploration to the north of these newly acquired tenements continues to expand the known limits of rare metal pegmatites southwards. Over time, I expect the pegmatite belt to prove one of the most important producers of lithium and tantalum in Western Australia.”

Yeah I'll just hold for the LT and take the 50% CGT discount, thankyou very much. But heck, a dollar is a dollar. Make profit wherever you can I reckon.  This resource sector is on fire ..... zinc, cobalt and lithium .... - Pilgangoora N results  - Kyarra results  - possible JV for AB - Drilling @ Napier/Emmanuel - Possible dual listing (TSX allows financials to be published for inferred resources)  - Possible spin-off (pending lithium/cobalt results, id imagine)  - We still have other projects e.g Rocky Gully (though I'd imagine these will stay on the backburner).  Im incredibly confident of our zinc portfolio and the direction management are taking it.... but jeez you'd be thinking that we're an unlucky bunch if we come up with dusters in some pretty amazing areas, during a bull market.

“The timing of these acquisitions is also important. Metalicity holds a unique position, developing a globally significant deposit of zinc, complemented with smaller nearby projects – with the International Lead and Zinc Study Group (ILZSG) as recently as this week further confirming a global zinc shortage unfolding.” Zinc prices are at 10-year highs because of the tightening marketplace. The base metal advanced by 1.4 per cent overnight to finish the session at $US3341 a tonne. The Napier Range project has an inferred mineral resource estimate of 750,000 tonnes at 13.6 per cent zinc equivalent (ZnEq) and an exploration target range of 100,000-200,000 tonnes at 10-15 per cent ZnEq. Zinc hits have been at a shallow depth, according to Metalicity, further highlighting the strong exploration and development upside. Metalicity has already completed field work, exploration targeting and base case financial modelling for the project. Emanuel Range is co-located in the Lennard Shelf geological belt and comprises a 30km strike of largely untested targets, proximate to the Pillara zinc mine. Metalicity intends to continue development of the zinc projects and is planning further exploration campaigns to better understand the mineral deposits.

Metalicity’s emergence as a zinc company has been boosted by the acquisition of two projects in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The explorer has exercised an option to acquire the Napier Range and Emanuel Range projects, which the company describes as high-grade, near-term development opportunities. Both properties complement Metalicity’s flagship Admiral Bay zinc project, also in the Kimberley region. The company has released a pre-feasibility study for Admiral Bay, which confirmed economics for a direct shipping ore (DSO) operation and a net present value of $1.2 billion for the project. Metalicity believes the acquisitions contain Mississippi Valley type zinc deposits, which typically require simple, low-cost, conventional processing to deliver high metal recoveries. Managing director Matthew Gauci said the acquisitions provided immediate upside for Metalicity as it continued to improve a staple of zinc projects in WA. “Admiral Bay is the fourth largest undeveloped zinc deposit in the world and the addition of high-grade zinc deposits within the region provides additional options and flexibility to generate cashflow,” Gauci said
