Goldman Sachs analyst maintained a Buy rating on Lynas Rare Earths Limited ( – ) today and set a price target of A$7.40. Paul Young has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors, including Lynas Rare Earths Limited’s strong financial performance and promising future prospects. Lynas reported a higher than expected underlying EBITDA and NPAT for the first half of FY24, driven by lower costs and efficient inventory management. The company is on track to double Neodymium and Praseodymium (NdPr) production by the end of CY24, despite current weak market prices. This ramp-up is expected to lead to an EBITDA margin of around 40% in FY25, highlighting significant profitability potential. Furthermore, the company is progressing with its expansion plans, including the Mt Weld plant and the Kalgoorlie Cracking & Leaching facility, which are slated to contribute to future production increases.
