Auf das flatexDEGIRO Platform (ein bisschen spät): Infineon: analysts' financial forecasts 18:17 06/08/2024 (CercleFinance.com) - Oddo BHF has reiterated its 'outperform' opinion and 46 euro price target for Infineon, noting that after the share's 20% decline in a month (driven by the sector and STMicro's poor results), the stock is paying less than eight times 2025 EBITDA. In this early phase of the recovery, although its pace is questionable, it is legitimate to aim for the average cycle multiple of 10 times observed over the last four years in the medium term', says the analyst. In the wake of slightly better-than-expected quarterly results, he also points out that, 'beyond questions about the pace of recovery, the Group remains very confident about its structural growth drivers and positioning'. Stifel also maintains its Buy rating on Infineon shares, with a price target lowered from E41 to E38. We are updating our financial model to reflect a less pronounced cyclical recovery in 2025, given the deterioration in macroeconomic indicators in recent weeks', explains the broker. Accordingly, Stifel is lowering its EPS forecasts for 2024E/2025E by 4%/14%, and anticipates a recovery in the automotive and industrial end-markets in 2025. We believe that Infineon's valuation is attractive given the company's long-term structural growth profile. The shares should be revalued in 2025, once the macroeconomic situation improves', concludes the analyst firm. UBS has also left its Buy recommendation unchanged, with a price target of E44. 'Infineon's strong portfolio and second-quarter outperformance suggest a long-term uptrend with significant upside potential', says the analyst firm. 'Fiscal third-quarter operating income 2% ahead of expectations.
