Dear Shareholders, I’d like to acknowledge the recent volatility in global capital and digital asset markets and the effect it has had on the Company’s share price. Whilst we cannot control the macro-environment that we operate in, we believe we are taking the right steps in terms of what we can control and that this work will hold us in good stead in the long term. As announced in the March Quarter update (ASX Announcement 29 April 2022), since starting with DigitalX in March this year, I have been working alongside the dedicated and talented team at DigitalX to create a strategy refresh and new initiatives that continue to build on the foundations the business has laid out in recent years. As previously disclosed, we intend to finalise the strategic plan during the June 2022 quarter and will communicate the updated strategy shortly after. Needless to say, I am excited about the direction we are taking the business and believe it will deliver sustainable returns for investors in the longer term. As part of this strategy development, we will continue building on the base of our Drawbridge regtech solution and the fully integrated Sell My Shares business while establishing broader financial market infrastructure in our suite of products. Our intention is to position the Company as a market leader in the emergence of Web3.0 and blockchain technologies. Arguably, helping us in achieving this goal is: our existing strategic partnership with the Digital Finance Cooperative Research Centre; the continued work we are undertaking with Synfini, the ASX’s distributed ledger platform (DLT) as a Service; and the acquisition of Sell My Shares, where we continue to build new infrastructure and upgrades. In addition to this, our professional funds management team continues to undertake deep analysis of the digital asset markets to understand the macro-economic factors impacting digital assets currently. Having recently left the banking sector, I am confident the new strategy, together with the ongoing work being undertaken by our team day-to-day will enable DigitalX to not only sustain itself during these difficult periods but grow into the future. Importantly, DigitalX has always and will continue to maintain a strong cost control focus, and that will never change under my leadership.
