Moreover, Canopy Growth has further expanded its presence in the United States through the acquisition of Acreage Holdings, a vertically integrated cannabis company based in New York. This acquisition was completed in December 2024 and allows Canopy Growth to consolidate and expand its activities in the U.S. cannabis market, including in New York.

As we close out 2024, New York’s licensed adult-use cannabis market has officially kicked into high gear. We saw a record-breaking $100 million sales in August, and the state’s Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) is expecting sales to reach or even pass $1 billion by the end of the year.
