IM L6 electric sedan debuts in China with 589 kW IM is a high-end Chinese EV brand jointly owned by SAIC, Alibaba, and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech. The IM 6 is a new mid-size electric sedan, it was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this week, and now we have photos of the debut in China. The L6 is a good looking full-electric liftback sedan, with recesses door handles, lidar, darkened lights, darkened windows, and sporty wheels. The rear looks interesting, with a wide ducktail-style spoiler with an integrated light unit, a very small rear window, and of course the liftback rear door. Size: 4931/1960/1474, with a 2950 wheelbase and a 2050 (RWD) or 2280 (AWD) kg curb weight. In China, IM will sell single-motor (216 kW) and dual-motor (579 kW) versions. The dual-motor version sprints from 0-100 in 3 seconds. The IM L6 is based on an 800V Dual SiC platform. IM will offer 90kWh and 100kWh batteries, with range ranging from 700 to 770 kilometers.
