$BLNK Full update. Please read the entire post. A nice move up today as Blink Charging reported this morning that it plans to turn profitable on an adjusted EBITA basis by the end of this year (marketwatch.com/story/blink-ch…). This is pretty big news, especially as we enter a potentially lower interest rate environment in the coming year ( $BLNK is a company that is in a growth phase so lower rates mean cheaper debt servicing). I continue to hold all of my shares and will scale out as I see fit. However, the upside target (and my original target all along remains $5.75-$7). This target comes simply from the S/R flip zone which was support in October 2020 and then flipped to resistance in July of 2023. Daily chart: The daily chart gives us a roadmap of the initial upside levels to watch. As mentioned yesterday, we really need to see a daily close above the 12/26 pivot VWAP currently at $3.06 to trigger the initial upside target of the breakeven supply zone above ranging from $3.60-$3.75. This move could come rather quickly due to the volume gap up to this breakeven supply zone. Prices can move through volume gaps very fast due to the lack of liquidity above which can act as a "vacuum" for price. Monthly Chart: The monthly candle chart has really been where this thesis originated since December and is still my main focus. The volume shelf setup here is really a big variable because it shows that we likely saw capitulation in this area (thats why there are so many shares that have aggregated down here since the January 2021 highs. On top of this, the lower indicators are showing signs of a longer-term reversal with the MACD nearing an upside cross, the RSI being oversold and starting to tick to the upside, and the Williams % Range also starting to tick up after printing divergence over the last several months. This combination of indicators is extremely powerful when used together, especially when price action is confirming and at a volume shelf. Overall, with any post/setup/idea I give, the decisions made are based on each individuals risk tolerance and trading style. Do what works for you but these are my thoughts and my reasoning for holding my position currently at a $2.35 dollar cost average.
