Evion hat mit dem US-amerikanischen Graphit-Technologiekonzern Urbix eine unverbindliche Abnahmevereinbarung über 15.000 Jahrestonnen (mtpa) Produkt aus dem Werk Maniry in Madagaskar unterzeichnet.
Der Rohstoff des Unternehmens wird für die Frühphase der Urbix-Produktion von modernem Coated Spheroidized Purified Graphite (CSPG) für die EV-Batterieindustrie verwendet.
Die prognostizierte Anfangsproduktion von Maniry liegt bei 39.000mtpa, wobei das Projekt im 4. Quartal 2024 die Produktion aufnehmen soll, bevor es auf 55.000mtpa hochgefahren wird.
