 Announcement of Periodic Review: Moody's announces completion of a periodic review of ratings of BAE SYSTEMS plc Global Credit Research - 19 Feb 2021 London, 19 February 2021 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") has completed a periodic review of the ratings of BAE SYSTEMS plc and other ratings that are associated with the same analytical unit. The review was conducted through a portfolio review discussion held on 12 February 2021 in which Moody's reassessed the appropriateness of the ratings in the context of the relevant principal methodology(ies), recent developments, and a comparison of the financial and operating profile to similarly rated peers. The review did not involve a rating committee. Since 1 January 2019, Moody's practice has been to issue a press release following each periodic review to announce its completion. This publication does not announce a credit rating action and is not an indication of whether or not a credit rating action is likely in the near future. BAE SYSTEMS plc's Baa2 long-term issuer rating reflects the company's large scale and technological leadership with long-standing relationships as a critical defence supplier to the US government and its strategic importance to the UK government. It is also supported by the company's highly diversified product base, a substantial proportion of services and support revenue and a solid outlook for global defence spending. Moody's rating is constrained by BAE's relatively high Moody's-adjusted leverage as a result of the debt-financed acquisitions completed in 2020 and the company's sizeable accounting deficit related to the company's defined-benefit pension obligations. The rating is further limited by a degree of geographic revenue concentration in the UK, the US and Saudi Arabia which exposes the company to political risk.

EU-UK trade deal may be announced today - report [23.12.20] 15:50:00 An agreement on the post-Brexit trade relationship between the European Union and the United Kingdom may be announced later today, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday. Despite persisting issues such as fisheries and level playing field trade policies, diplomats close to the negotiations told the news organization that a deal is very close and could be expected as soon as tonight. Earlier today, Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin stated that if the talks are successfully concluded tonight or tomorrow, European officials will stay and work on the text of the agreement on Christmas day.

Der Kurs läuft jetzt seit zwei Wochen seitwärts zwischen 5,60 € und 6 €.

Ja, der Kurs läuft seit Montag wieder steil nach oben (trotz einzelner Rücksetzer am Dienstag und Mittwoch). Hatte vermutet, dass die Aktie wegen der neuen (alten) Corona-Sorgen wieder nachgibt, aber die anderen News scheinen den stärkeren Impuls zu liefern.
