Notice of General Meeting and Letter from the Chief Executive and Interim Chairman Argo is pleased to announce that it has posted to shareholders a circular convening a General Meeting to be held at 10:00 am on 6 Sept 2021 at the offices of finnCap. The GM has been called to approve a new Remuneration Policy; a new 2021 Equity Incentive Plan; the Grant of Equity compensation to Non-Executive Directors; and the grant of authority to the directors to allot shares and to dis-apply statutory pre-emption rights. Climate Strategy Announcement Argo Blockchain is pleased to announce that it is the first publicly traded cryptocurrency mining company to report it is climate positive from Scope 1, 2 and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. Climate Positive means that the company is addressing its own GHG emissions to become carbon neutral and going even further by mitigating emissions through support of projects outside of Argo. Over the past year, the Company has developed its “Climate Positive Strategy”, with input from climate strategy advisor, Guidehouse. Argo is pleased to have achieved a number of significant milestones, including: -Purchased Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) -Prioritised direct renewable purchase on-site or from a local grid -Purchased GHG offsets for any Argo value chain emissions -Purchased additional offsets such as Verified Emissions Reductions (VERs) Argo is also now a participant in the @UNFCCC Climate Neutral Now initiative. Argo undertakes to measure, reduce, contribute, and report emissions yearly in order to achieve a Climate Neutral world by 2050. Argo will also release an annual Climate Report. Argo is pleased to announce that it has broken ground on its 200MW cryptocurrency mining facility in Dickens County, TX, which will be powered predominantly by renewable energy.
