"Apellis Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:APLS) quickly dropped 11% amid a new short report.
The short report is apparently from Favus research, according to traders on Wednesday. Details of the short report couldn't immediately be learned.
Apellis (APLS) didn't immediately respond to Seeking Alpha email request for comment.

Apellis (APLS) shares had plunged almost 50% since mid July through Tuesday amid concerns over the company’s eye disorder therapy, Syfovre, which promoted several Wall Street downgrades in recent months. APLS plummeted 38% on July 17 after a prominent ophthalmology medical group issued a warning over Syfovre. The American Society of Retinal Specialists said in a letter to eye doctors on July 15 that it is aware of reports of eye inflammation associated with use of the treatment.
Apellis (APLS) shares jumped 30% on Aug. 23 when the company's Chief Medical Officer Caroline Baumal said that the the real-world incidence of retinal vasculitis associated with Syfovre (pegcetacoplan) is 0.01% per injection.

Hier fehlt mir aber die Herausforderung: Kann hier als absoluter Amateur einfach so was schreiben oder kommentieren oder auch mal unwissend Fragen stellen, ohne als individueller Nutzer angegriffen und defamiert zu werden. Manchmal habe ich sogar das Gefühl, dass hier so etwas wie eine allgemeine gegenseitige Wertschätzung vorherrscht, sowas verdirbt den Charakter, weil zu viel warme Dusche fürs Ego. 😜

Ich sehe den Kurs garnicht als Gefahr, sondern als neue Chance für mich aber bestimmt auch für den ein oder anderen .
Schönen EK hast du btw.
Weil der Markt unberechenbar ist, das haben wir ja glaube ich alle mittlerweile gelernt, oder 😅😁?
