Das sieht heftig aus. Q3 wird dann richtig heftig. EV Boden hin oder her (ob ich damit recht habe weiß ja keiner), damit kann man eigentlich keine 90$ halten. Selbst 78$ wäre wahnsinnig teuer. Aber zieht gerne eure eigenen Schlussfolgerungen. Zweckoptimismus vs Ratio

Albemarle (NYSE:ALB) +1.5% in Wednesday's trading after opening lower following a Berenberg downgrade to Hold from Buy with an $83 price target, slashed from $160, believing the causes behind deteriorating lithium prices will remain persistent in the medium term. "Lower lithium prices have caught Albemarle on the wrong foot and fully committed to a large capex program and may, we think, force the company to raise equity capital," analysts Sebastian Bray and Andres Castanos-Mollor write. European demand for lithium has barely grown and U.S. demand is poor, and the outlook for both markets is negative, the analysts say, with import tariffs being levied and plug-in hybrid vehicles - which have a battery ~20% the size of a full-battery electric vehicle - making sustained market share gains in all markets. Berenberg believes Q2 results will present a "deceptively strong print" by Albemarle (ALB), helped by $100M of profits from an extraordinary sale of disproportionately profitable spodumene from the Greenbushes mine in Australia.

Sehr komisch ein neues Kursziel wenige Stunden vor den Quartalsergebnissen bekanntzugeben. Kapitalerhöhung war ja erst in Q1, also ist das die nächste Zeit auch eher unwahrscheinlich.

Seitenlinie. Respektiere die Bewegung. Korrelation mit dem Spot Preis scheint beendet zu sein. Oder jemand hält es künstlich bei niedrigem Volumen oben. Bis nach den earnings werde ich warten. Dennoch könnte es heute noch massiv fallen. Aber ich kann den Intraday nicht vorhersagen, heute ist ein Bespiel dafür.

Die ist immer erstaunlich stabil, bis die Amis kommen. Ich hinterfrage diesen Zusammenhang gar nicht erst.
Ganfeng als Frühindikator hat sich auch erstaunlich resilient gezeigt. Dennoch gehe ich heute eher vom Brechen der 90$ in Albemarle aus. Die anstehenden earnings sorgen aber für Ungewissheit, hatten wir ja schon drüber geschrieben. Daher möchte ich eher davor wieder an die Seitenlinie zurück. Gamble nicht auf gap up oder gap downs die 50/50 stehen.

2028 wäre eventuell ein gutes Timing. Etwas spekulativ, aber bis dahin sollte zumindest ein gewisser rebound stattgefunden haben. Ob man dann schon höher steht als heute… vermutlich ja.

Sind nicht so scharf drauf.
Würde mir auch nicht gefallen wenn die neben mir eine Loch budeln.
Aber alleine das die das tun sagt ja schon mal was aus über die notwendigen Mengen an Lithium die man gedenkt zu brauchen.
