🌏 As South Korea prepares to host the UN Plastics Treaty talks in Busan at the end of the month, CARBIOS had the opportunity to participate in a seminar hosted by the EU Delegation to the Republic of Korea and the National Assembly Forum on Climate Change. Indeed, the outcome of the fifth and final session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee will be pivotal, as it may determine the structure of global plastic regulation for years to come. On this occasion, CARBIOS presented its groundbreaking innovations and highlighted how government support in financing, regulation, and enforcement is essential for advancing recycling technologies that address plastic pollution from a lifecycle perspective. With the UN projecting plastic waste levels to triple by 2040, the urgency of collaborative action has never been greater to achieve a sustainable, circular future. 🌍♻️
Während sich Südkorea darauf vorbereitet, Ende des Monats Gastgeber der Gespräche zum UN-Kunststoffvertrag in Busan zu sein, hatte CARBIOS die Gelegenheit, an einem Seminar teilzunehmen, das von der EU-Delegation in der Republik Korea und dem Forum der Nationalversammlung zum Klimawandel veranstaltet wurde.
